Memory Implants
My article was about using computer chips to act as 'memory implants,' they are called, but more like a helping hand to create memories for those who cannot, or mostly cannot. It talked about using a math equation to mimic the way the electrodes send electric pulses form and store memories. The future technology, if successful, can help people with Alzheimer's, a past stroke, epilepsy problems, contain and create memories. What surprised me the most was how successful they have been with all of the tests they have taken. I think there is MANY possibilities for this area in the future, because the more they test it-especially on humans- the more they will learn, and in turn, thhe more sequences and equations they will learn and put into use, and what if evantually they can implant actual memories, not just ways to create memories? That would be amazing, but dangerous in the wrong hands.
